Advantage College History

A New Beginning And A New Name
A new millenium, a new name and a new vision…Advantage College has moved from humble beginnings in 1976 as Pacific Coast Bible College, to a renewed vision for the 21st century. Advantage College will partner with churches in raising up and training leaders for this unique time in history.

Taking the College to the Church
Never before has “Taking the College to the Church” been a more appropriate slogan. Churches can now establish church-based schools and be affiliated with Advantage College as part of the new delivery system. This new delivery system does not mean that we have done away with the old! Advantage College continues to serve the International Pentecostal Holiness Church (IPHC) in the west as well as sister denominations and fellowships in the body of Christ.

Central Campus is Relocated to Modesto, California
In the spring of 2013, our central campus was relocated to Modesto, California. Currently with Schools of Ministry in Modesto and the San Francisco Bay Area, we serve a broader company of believers and churches with classroom instruction on the west coast. Both the Modesto and San Jose campus offer Associates of Practical Theology (2 year) and Bachelor of Practical Theology (4 year) programs with the new and revised course offerings. Our staff is each involved in serving local churches as well as the college. They are spiritually and academically qualified in their fields. They are experienced church leaders with a passion to equip leaders to reach and change their world.
